Makomo was a supporting character in the anime seriesDemon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. A former student of Sakonji Urokodaki, she appears alongside Sabito to assist Tanjiro with his training before the Final Selection Exam for new Demon Slayers. During her own Final Selection Exam, she was defeated by the Hand Demon and devoured by him.
